Shannon is a veterinary surgeon and a mother of 2. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic neurological disease that affects the brain, eyes and spinal cord. She discovered rehabilitation exercises greatly improve her functional outcomes. She started running to get fitter and she became a charity athlete for the Singapore Cancer Society. She continues to work full-time, take care of her family and runs to raise funds for needy patients. This is Shannon.
