How to make Kari Ayam (Malaysian Chicken Curry)

Hey guys, here at KenduriTV there are no specific measurement to all our recipes. You kind of have to wing it and always taste as you go! That makes cooking much more fun & exciting!

Here are the ingredients :

BLENDED INTO PASTE
2 Garlic -cloves
2 Onion –
50g Dried Chilli – Use less if you dont want it too spicy, Heat depends on the chillies

200g Chicken – bone it, cleaned
1 Potato – Chopped into big chunks
1 Carrot – Chopped into medium chunks
1 Tomato – Chopped into quarter
1 Fennel seed – Teaspoon
1 Star anise
2 Clove
1 Cinnamon – Stick
2 Curry powder – Tablespoon
1 Cumin – Teaspoon of grounded cumin
1 Coriander – Teaspoon of grounded corianded
2 Tamarind paste – Tablespoon mixed with water
2 Curry leaves – Sprigs
400ml Coconut Cream

Season to taste with Salt & Sugar

Water according to your desired consistency.

This recipe serves 2, best eaten with Roti or steamed rice.
